Emily Whitaker & Sarah Lucas are a Mother/Daughter Team
Emily is a retired technology professional, former computer instructor, and farmers’ market manager with a passion for knitting. Sarah is a math educator, wife, and mother who enjoys spending time outdoors with her family. Each October, we proudly participate in Home Craft Days in Big Stone Gap, Virginia, hosted by Mountain Empire Community College, where we share our handcrafted creations with the community.

Windy Hills Coffee was inspired by our love for custom, artisan coffee. In 2016, we started roasting and selling, providing coffee to shops, coffee brewers, and events. We are roasting our coffee on the land we call Windy Hills in SE Kentucky, where our family has been for six generations.
